Steven Graff Levine received his Bachelor's Degree from Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, New York. He received his Juris Doctor cum laude from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, and was admitted to the California Bar in 1989.
After a short stint in civil litigation in New York City, he joined the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office where he served as a line deputy, a felony trial deputy, and a gang prosecutor in the Hardcore Gang Unit in downtown Los Angeles. Thereafter, Steve Levine spent several years with the California Supreme Court in San Francisco as the chambers attorney for Justice Carlos Moreno.
Mr. Levine has been in private practice for the past several years, specializing in trials an appellate advocacy. He is also Of Counsel to Christensen, Glaser, Fink, Jacobs, Weil & Shapiro, and works closely with renowned Defense Attorney Robert Shapiro. He recently was the appellate arm of the defense team representing heiress Paris Hilton.
Steve Levine has tried over 100 cases, including 20 murder trials. He has written training manuals and legislation that was enacted into law. As a California Supreme Court staff lawyer, he drafted opinions and developed new law.
